Description

SuperECL™ Plus Western Blotting Detection Kit is an exceptionally sensitive, luminol-based chemiluminescent substrate designed for the detection of horseradish peroxidase (HRP) on immunoblots. This kit empowers the detection of antigens at the femtogram level by catalyzing the oxidation of luminol in the presence of HRP and a peroxide, resulting in a sustained chemiluminescent signal that can be captured on X-ray film or other imaging devices. The blots can be exposed multiple times to X-ray film to achieve the best possible results, or they can be stripped of the immunodetection reagents for re-probing, offering flexibility in experimental design.

The unique formulation of SuperECL™ Plus Substrate positions it as an ideal alternative to Amersham ECL Select Substrate, eliminating the need for additional optimization of assay conditions.
