Background

This gene encodes a protein that has sequence similarity to zeta crystallin, also known as quinone oxidoreductase. This zeta crystallin-like protein also contains an NAD(P)H binding site. Alternatively spliced transcript variants have been observed but their full-length nature has not been completely determined.

Western blotting analysis using anti-crystallin zeta like 1 antibody (Cat#63805). Total cell lysates (20 μg) from various cell lines were loaded and separated by SDS-PAGE. The blot was incubated with anti-crystallin zeta like 1 antibody (Cat#63805, 1:5,000) and HRP-conjugated goat anti-mouse secondary antibody (Cat#101, 1:20,000) respectively. Image was developed using FeQTM ECL Substrate Kit (Cat#226).
