Background

This gene ATIC encodes a bifunctional protein that catalyzes the last two steps of the de novo purine biosynthetic pathway. The N-terminal domain has phosphoribosylaminoimidazolecarboxamide formyltransferase activity, and the C-terminal domain has IMP cyclohydrolase activity. A mutation in this gene results in AICA-ribosiduria.

Images

ATIC antibody Western blotting analysis using anti-ATIC antibody (Cat#63653). Total cell lysates (30 μg) from various cell lines were loaded and separated by SDS-PAGE. The blot was incubated with anti-ATIC antibody (Cat#63653, 1:5,000) and HRP-conjugated goat anti-mouse secondary antibody (Cat#101, 1:20,000) respectively. Image was developed using NaQ™ ECL Substrate Kit (Cat#716).
63653 WB KD 1 Western blotting analysis using anti-ATIC antibody (Cat#63653). ATIC expression in wild-type (WT) and ATIC shRNA knockdown (KD) HeLa cells with 20 μg of total cell lysates. Hsp90 α serves as a loading control. The blot was incubated with anti-ATIC antibody (Cat#63653, 1:5,000) and HRP-conjugated goat anti-mouse secondary antibody (Cat#101, 1:20,000) respectively. Image was developed using NaQ™ ECL Substrate Kit (Cat#716).
63653 FCM 1 Flow cytometric analysis of ATIC expression in C2C12 cells using anti-ATIC antibody (Cat#63653, 1:2,000). Green, isotype control; red, ATIC.
